I grew up in one of Uganda’s poorest slums, witnessing my mother endure violence behind closed doors. At just ten years old, I carried deep pain and saw many women and young people trapped in the same cycle of abuse. I refused to let that be the end of the story. In 2022, I founded Option One Initiative Uganda Limited to turn pain into purpose creating safe spaces where survivors are heard, women and youth can heal, and communities gain skills to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
